Softball All-Stars
Summerfield All Stars and Travel Softball Programs
In support of SRA’s mission to continue growing a quality rec softball program, develop players and coaches and to answer the interest of some players to also experience a higher level of competition, SRA offers several opportunities in addition to our traditional rec program.
8U Summerfield Stars Softball
SRA will field an 8U Stars Softball travel team starting in the fall of 2019. Selected players will practice and enter local travel tournaments through the spring season. For more info on 8U, contact BJ Durham, bj.durham@hotmail.com
12U All Stars
SRA will field a 12U All Star team starting in the fall of 2019. Selected players will practice and scrimmage through the fall season with the ambition of playing similar teams in our neighboring communities in the spring as well as a few local travel tournaments in the fall or spring.
GBC Fastpitch travel partnership
Interested SRA rec players have the opportunity to participate in the travel ball experience by earning a position on a partnership travel team, playing under a shared identity which will reflect the strength of both the SRA and GBC organizations. These teams play local travel tournaments year-around.
In this mutual partnership GBC offers developmental resources to interested SRA rec softball players and coaches to support their development and strengthen the SRA rec softball program overall. SRA hosts these teams by providing access to practice facilities when available and administrative resources like TeamSnap to the travel teams.
